Who we are
Brain Changer Pty Ltd (ABN 67 617 037 886) (“Brain Changer”, “we” or “us”) is a digital therapeutic platform for delivering evidence-based treatment for chronic pain. The platform supports delivery of best-practice care based on pain science. Patients do a 12 week online program with standardized coaching from trained health professionals. Coaching is delivered via secure video conferencing in the patient’s home environment, place of work or location of choice.
At the heart of the program is a set of digital self-management tools that guides the patient through learning and practicing the daily activities needed for recovery from chronic pain. These digital tools are accessed through an App and they help patients put key concepts from pain neuroscience into practice. This methodology is supported by research showing the cause of chronic pain is nervous system maladaptation rather than unchangeable tissue injury.
Daily use of the innovative tools creates a unique data set for each patient that allows tracking of adaptive changes to the nervous system. This progress data is used by our coaches to specialize the program to the individual.

Brain Changer is committed to respecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through our App and and telehealth coaching program how we collect, use, disclose and store this information. All users can contact our human resources team for information about their privacy.
Collection of Personal Information
What is personal information
Personal information includes any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate you. The only personal information we collect via the App is an email address, strictly to enable you to recover your account if you forget your username or password.
Non-Personal Information
What is non-personal information
Non-personal information is information that does not identify the specific User. In relation to the App, the non-personal information we collect includes your username, the date and time you score, your scores, and the words you use to describe a Halo or Zombie.
Activity and Log Data
We automatically store information related to your use of the App in our log files, including the date and time you score, your scores and the words you use to describe a Halo or Zombie. We use this information to analyse trends and generate reports. This information is not tied to personally identifiable information. We use your non-personal information to provide, administer, improve and personalise the App. We may also share your non-personal information with third parties for the purposes of research so we can reach more people suffering with this condition. Any non-personal information that is shared for research purposes will be de-identified from your user name.
Security of Information
How we store information
We may store your information in hard copy or electronic format, in storage facilities that we own and operate ourselves, or that are owned and operated by our service providers, including those that are located overseas, such as in the United States.
Brain Changer and our service providers implement a range of measures to protect the security of information including:

strict monitoring and access controls regulating which staff and contractors can access particular information
No method of data transmission over the Internet or data storage is 100% secure and therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted to or from the App. We are subject to laws requiring us to protect personal information once it comes into our possession.
Privacy Laws
We are subject to a range of privacy and health information laws. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit our obligations or permitted handling of personal information under these laws.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will govern our use of your information and will always be located on our webpage. If we make a change to our Privacy Policy that is material, we will notify you via an App notification before implementing the change. By continuing to access the App and use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
